Maria Pearman\, CPA\, CGMA\, is GHJ&rsquo\;s Food and Beverage Practice Leader. She directs the strategy for the firm&rsquo\;s food and beverage practice and serves food and beverage clients as an outsourced CFO.

\n\nPrior to joining GHJ in 2021\, Maria built a national practice focused on beverage alcohol clients. She helped clients to improve financial results and maximize efficiency of operations and guided them through ownership transitions.
\n\n\;
\n\nMaria has written two books on finance in the food and beverage sector and has taught in beverage programs at the University of Vermont\, Portland State University\, and the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States Academy.
\n\n\;
\n\nMaria graduated from the College of Charleston where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management and minor in French. She received her Post Baccalaureate in Accounting from Linfield College. Maria has been a licensed CPA since 2010.
