The June 17 Music in the Mansion concert will feature Ohtae Kwon on trombone and Jenni Olson on flute.
South-Korean-born trombonist Ohtae Kwon earned his Artist Diploma at the USC Thornton School of Music. He is director of music at Antioch Presbyterian Church in Montrose CA.
Jenni Olson is an active orchestral and chamber music performer in the Los Angeles area. She performs regularly with the chamber music ensemble Orion Winds, which she co-founded, and has performed with various orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, New West Symphony, and the Pacific Symphony. She is currently principal flute with the Stockton Symphony and second flute with the Long Beach Symphony and Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra. Jenni earned her BA from California State University, Stanislaus and her MM and DMA from the University of Southern California, where she studied with Jim Walker.
