As a Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce member—You already are steps ahead getting involved in your community and networking with businesspeople in Beverly Hills and surrounding areas.  After COVID—its more important than ever before to understand just exactly how important networking is and learning the best way to present & communicate you and your expertise.
    

Join Debbie Goldfarb and Larry Johnson—Small Business Advisors from El Camino Small Business Development Center.  Together they have put together a new two class series that highlights key skills needed to succeed in today’s business world.

In collaboration with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce—Debbie & Larry have created two 1-hour classes. Each class will provide a brief overview of the topic of the day along with key tools and practicum.  This will be an open class forum where we can share ideas and learn from each other about what it takes to Network, craft a 35-second Elevator Pitch as well as a Personal Branding statement.       

These two skills are critical in helping you expand where you are today and pivoting from here to where you could be tomorrow.

Class 1: Network Your Way to Success (Tuesday, June 21) Despite COVID and the many challenges we’ve all faced…whether at the gym or at home—learning to network is a critical skill to have.  And, more than that is the “35 second elevator speech” –where you clearly articulate who you are and where you want to be.  

Class 2: You Are Your Brand—Personal Brand That Is (Thursday, June 30) In this new digital world everyone’s skills, understanding and access to the wide variety of media platforms is critical to stay in touch, stay relevant and build your personal brand.  Through this expertise, you can build, revamp, and grow your social media following and hone access to new opportunities.
